Calls for applications

The mission of the Institut universitaire de France (IUF), created by the decree of August 26, 1991, is to promote the development of high-level research in universities and to strengthen interdisciplinarity.

The selection campaign for new junior and senior IUF members will open on Monday, September 6, 2021 at noon. A total of 164 members (82 seniors and 82 juniors) may be appointed at the beginning of the 2022 academic year, including 20 for innovation and 4 for scientific mediation (134 members in total in 2021).

The Association Crédit Mutuel Professions de Santé proposes to support innovative teams of researchers in the field of health by creating the CMPS "Innovation Santé" Prize of €10,000.

Each application must be submitted by a multidisciplinary team; individual applications are not eligible.

The candidate team must include at least 30% of health professionals. The project leader must have a state health diploma or be following a training course leading to a state-recognized health professional diploma.

The partners of the Grande Région, the Grand Est Region, the Länder of Saarland and Rhineland-Palatinate, Luxemburg and the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, are working to develop and strengthen cooperation in higher education and research. Under the French presidency of the Greater Region 2021/22, a new call for applications was launched on 15 April for a research support scheme aimed at highlighting scientific excellence in the Greater Region and generating new synergies in the research sector.

The French Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (SFBBM) offers 200€ scholarships to doctoral students, up to date with their 2021 SFBBM membership, to attend its annual meeting in Paris, on July 1 and 2.

DrEAM (Doctor, Explore and Achieve More!) is the program set up by the Université de Lorraine within the framework of the Lorraine University of Excellence Initiative (LUE) to finance the international mobility of its doctoral students within a research unit abroad. It is open to all doctoral students enrolled at the Université de Lorraine who wish to carry out a research stay from 2 to 6 months..

Following an initiative from the Cercle Gutenberg, the Region Grand Est has decided to fund Gutenberg Chairs to host, for approximately one year, highly-qualified research scientists of high international reputation.

The Grand Est Region is launching a new action: "Recruit your first doctor in a company". This scheme is aimed at companies and allows them to recruit young doctors as part of the development of their business.
