As part of the "Research Week" organized by the University of Lorraine, the university libraries invite you to the 5th edition of the Researchers' Factory, on September 29, 2022, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, at the BU Santé (free entrance).

Six researchers in the field of health will talk about their day-to-day work as teacher-researchers and what motivated them to become one.

The University of Lorraine and the CNRS, through the UMR IMoPa, LPCT and CRM2, have the opportunity this year to organize the 35th edition of the Rhine-Knee Regiomeeting on Structural Biology. This event will take place from October 5 to 7, 2022 in Gérardmer (FR-88400).

The 35th edition, organized in Gérardmer (Vosges) by three laboratories of the Université de Lorraine, has the honour to welcome Dr. S. Jacob from Novartis in Basel, Pr. Dr. W. Kuehlbrandt from the Max Planck Institute in Frankfurt and Dr. S. Grudinin from CNRS in Grenoble.

The first Nature Research Academies workshop entitled "Getting Published Workshop" will take place on June 27 and 28, 2022 at the Amphi 400 of the Brabois-Santé Campus (Faculty of Medicine, Maieutics and Health Professions). This workshop is the result of a strategic partnership of excellence that was officially launched on May 9, 2022 between the Nature Group and the Nancy University Hospital with the support of the Faculty of Medicine (https://lnkd.in/ehNi93Dd).

The BMS Scientific Pole is organizing an afternoon presentation of the 2022 incentive projects on Wednesday, June 29 2022 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the LEPOIS Amphitheater of the Faculty of Medicine in Vandœuvre-lès-Nancy.

As part of the scientific day of the ED Biose, Dr Bertrand Coste (CNRS, Marseille) will give a lecture on the theme of the Nobel Prize in Physiology and Medicine 2021, entitled "Mechanosensation of the somatosensory system".

As part of the preparation of the 4th Regional Health and Environment Plan for the Grand Est (PRSE4), a regional day will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. by videoconference.

The Signalife Labex community is pleased to welcome you to the conference "Multiple Facets of RNA in Development and Disease" on March 16-18, 2022 at the "Grand Château" (Valrose campus, Nice).

The ProteinLorraine network is organizing its first seminar of the year 2022.

Dominique Mias-Lucquin, post-doc in the Capsid team at LORIA (UL, CNRS, INRIA) will present his work entitled: « Molecular modelisation and integration of experimental data for structural studies - example of the relaxase RelSt3 ».

Seminar will be given online on Monday 24th of January at 1pm.

ProteinLorraine network is back this year with seminars organized throughout the year. The first session is scheduled for November 22nd from 12:30 to 13:30 with the following seminars :

A day of presentation of doctoral contracts in Artificial Intelligence will take place on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at INRIA at the science campus of Vandœuvre-lès-Nancy.

These contracts, launched in the fall of 2020, cover a wide range of scientific topics with the aim of bringing together knowledge and enriching exchanges between all AI players at the University of Lorraine and its partners. They are co-financed by the ANR, the Grand Est Region, LUE, CHRU, Inria, ARS, ICANS and CNRS.
