A one-year postdoctoral position (renewable for an additional 12 months) is available at the Department of Chemistry and Macromolecular Materials of the Charles Gerhardt Institute in Montpellier (Balard Building - CNRS Campus route de Mende).
The work proposed in this project will consist first of all in developing a protocol for the synthesis of degradable polymer microparticles that will serve as a therapeutic vector of the 'first-in-class' active principle (AP). In addition, it will also be necessary to determine the distribution of the AP within the microparticles, to study and modulate the kinetics of particle degradation and AP release. These activities will be carried out in coordination with polymer synthesis work done in collaboration with the company.
The contract start date is April-May 2022.
