Located at the BU Engineers Brabois, the TeachLab Iris is a room dedicated to training and meetings allowing collaborative work sessions and creative work approaches.
As of June 1, 2021, the TeachLab Iris is open on reservation 24/7 to teachers and/or researchers, PhD students and staff of the University of Lorraine (during the administrative opening period of the university).
The room can accommodate a minimum of 2 people and a maximum of 40 people (20 people during a health crisis). All student groups must be accompanied by a staff member, a teacher and/or researcher or a doctoral student.
Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance for a weekday reservation and 48 hours in advance for a weekend reservation via the online form or by phone.
To organize your training sessions or group work, here is the equipment at your disposal
- Mobile tables and chairs of 5 different colors to organize your groups into work islands,
- An interactive video projector,
- 2 speechis Touch (touch screens with educational applications),
- 2 classic screens.
These tools can be used with the Via Kramer application to allow multi-screen display, screen and file sharing between participants, thus promoting collaboration within the work islands.
To facilitate remote exchanges, you will find :
- A videoconference bridge,
- A camera with a table microphone (ideal for round table discussions).
