Since November 10, 2021, the University of Lorraine has its own research data warehouse, DOREL (DOnnées de la REcherche Lorraines), allowing researchers to preserve and disseminate their data sets.

This one-hour online workshop proposes to familiarize oneself with the main features of this tool and to learn how to make one's first repository. It will be offered on a regular basis.

DOREL is open to the entire scientific community of the University of Lorraine. Any researcher can deposit his or her completed research datasets (tabular or non-tabular data, images, sounds, surveys, videos, etc.) at no cost to the researcher or laboratory, and assign public metadata and a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) to enable their use and citation. The deposited data can be open and public or on the contrary benefit from a restricted access, and shared at will, in accordance with the legislation in force.

The first sessions are scheduled on the following slots:

  • Tuesday, February 1st at 10:00 am.
  • Thursday, February 24 at 10:00 am.
  • Thursday, March 24 at 2:00 pm.
  • Tuesday, April 26 at 10 am.
  • Wednesday, May 25 at 10 am.
  • Tuesday June 28 at 2 pm.
