You work in the East of France (Alsace, Bourgogne, Champagne-Ardenne, Franche-Comté and Lorraine) and you have an interest in extracellular vesicle (EV) research: join the REVE!
The Eastern Extracellular Vesicle Network (REVE in French) welcomes all researchers, engineers, technicians and students from the East Region interested in the topic of EVs, whatever their field of research (agronomy, environment, health…). Founded in December 2022, it aims to promote local collaborations, as well as the sharing of methods, equipment and knowledge. It also contributes to the regional mapping of technical facilities and activities associated to studies involving EVs.
Meetings are regularly organized so that network members can present their work, discover new technologies and exchange with local or national experts.
This network, which already has more than 80 members, wishes to continue its development. Its steering committee is formed by: Céline ÉLIE-CAILLE (Institut FEMTO-ST, CNRS UMR 6174, Université de Franche-Comté, Besançon), Jessica GOBBO (CGFL, INSERM U1231, Université de Bourgogne, Dijon) et Vincent HYENNE (CRBS, INSERM U1109, Université de Strasbourg).
If you have any questions or would like to become a REVE member, please contact directly Émilie VELOT (IMoPA, CNRS UMR 7365), network correspondent for the University of Lorraine.
What are EVs? They are particles secreted by cells. They are delimited by a lipid membrane and can transport proteins and nucleic acids, among other things. They participate in intercellular communication.
