At the end of March, the institutional data warehouse of the University of Lorraine was the subject of an article in the form of a three-point progress report in FACTUEL. After consultation with future users of the tool and the Open Science Steering Committee of the institution, its name was chosen: DOREL (DOnnées de la REcherche Lorraines).
The warehouse will have a dual purpose: to provide the University's researchers with a tool to store and disseminate their datasets and to report the University's scientific production, in the same way as HAL for publications.
Based on the Dataverse solution, it is currently being tested by 16 pilot laboratories. The Operational Committee for Research Data is on deck to make this much-awaited tool available in the fall of 2021.
