In the framework of the ANR's 2021 generic call for projects (AAPG), 48 projects (JCJC-PRC-PRCE) were submitted by research units of the BMS cluster. There were 28 projects for which the laboratories were coordinators, and 20 for which they were partners. At the end of the first selection stage, 17 projects were selected.

For the BMS cluster, 9 collaborative research projects (PRC-PRCE) were definitively selected for ANR funding.

Coordinating laboratories :

  •     The Collaborative Research Project (CRP) "BioRiboSRP", entitled "Deciphering the biogenesis mechanism of the Signal Recognition Particle and its links with ribosome biogenesis and nucleolus structure" is coordinated by Séverine MASSENET (UMR7365 IMoPA) ;
  •     The Collaborative Research Project - Company (PRCE) "ELECTRA", entitled "Imaging of ELECTRICAL properties by MRI: Application to MRI compatibility of medical devices" is coordinated by Freddy ODILLE (U1254 IADI).

Partner laboratories :

  •     The CRP "ModRNAntibio", entitled "Phenotypic adaptation to antibiotics: modifications of t/rRNA" is coordinated by Zeynep BAHAROGLU and where Virginie MARCHAND (UMS2008/US40 IBSLor) is a partner ;
  •     The PRC "SaRNAmod", entitled "Modifications of RNA in Staphylococcus aureus during responses to stresses, antibiotic treatments and infections: impact on translation and its regulation" is coordinated by Stefano MARZI and where Iouri MOTORINE (UMR7365 IMoPA) is a partner ;
  •     The " ENIGMncA " CRP, entitled "Exploration of the roles of TMEM165 and SPCA1 in the Golgian homeostasis of Ca2+ and Mn2+, Golgian glycosylation and protein secretion, application to TMEM165-CDG and HHD pathologies" is coordinated by François FOULQUIER and where Mohamed OUZZINE (UMR7365 IMoPA) is a partner ;
  •     The " SMILING " CRP, entitled "Preclinical evaluation in large animals of a vascular substitute constructed by tissue engineering from the human umbilical cord" is coordinated by Véronique DECOT, MTI Platform and where Caroline GAUCHER (UR3452 CITHEFOR), Reine El Omar (UMR7365 IMoPA) and Patrick MENU (UMR7365 IMoPA) are partners ;
  •     The PRC " SMALA ", entitled "Enzymatic approach for the synthesis of small to macrolactams" is coordinated by Anne ZAPARUCHA and where Arnaud GRUEZ (UMR7365 IMoPA) is a partner ;
  •     The CRP "MOSAR", entitled "Advanced control of head movements and specific absorption rate to increase the potential of 7 Tesla MRI in neuropediatric imaging" is coordinated by Vincent GRAS and where Freddy ODILLE (U1254 IADI) is partner ;
  • The CRP "ESCIENT", entitled "Estimation of the effect of a complex intervention in the form of a risk difference - Conceptual and biostatistical challenges" is coordinated by Bruno GIRAUDEAU and where Nelly AGRINIER (UR4360 APEMAC) is partner.

In addition, 5 PRCI projects "Collaborative Research Project - International" have been submitted and those selected for funding under the AAPG 2021 will be published as negotiations with foreign agencies proceed, from late September to December 2021.
