Simon TOUPANCE will defend his Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches (HDR) on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, starting at 2:00 p.m., in the Lepois Auditorium at the Faculty of Medicine, Midwifery, and Health Professions, Vandœuvre-lès-Nancy.
The title of his dissertation defense is "Telomere Length Dynamics and Aging Trajectories".
The jury will consist of :
- Mr. Zhou Xu (Paris-Seine Institute of Biology (IBPS)).
- Mr. Éric Boulanger (University of Lille / Pasteur Institute of Lille).
- Ms. Lida Katsimpardi (Institute of Regenerative Medicine and Biotherapy (IRMB), Montpellier).
- Mr. Stéphane Jaisson (University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne / Reims University Hospital).
- Ms. Anne Gégout-Petit (University of Lorraine).
- Ms. Nathalie Auchet-Mercier (University of Lorraine).
Mr. Athanase Benetos, Professor Emeritus at the University of Lorraine, is the scientific advisor for this HDR.
