Plateforme B2S, Biopôle

The NMR 600 spectrometer of the B2S core facility has acquired a new cryoprobe dedicated to the study of organic molecules and macromolecules. This acquisition was funded by the European Union with the European Regional Development Fund, the Université de Lorraine, and the CNRS.

The NMR 600 spectrometer of the B2S core facility allows the study in solution of organic molecules of chemical and biological interest. The device has just been equipped with a latest-generation cryoprobe, financed by the European Union with the European Regional Development Fund (177 295€), the Université de Lorraine (150 000€), and the CNRS (50 000€).

This probe increases the detection's sensitivity of the 1H, 13C and 15N nuclei included in proteins, nucleic acids, organic polymers, and small therapeutic molecules.

The UMS2008/US40 IBSLor warmly thanks the funders of this cryoprobe whose versatility will allow users to access the structural, dynamic and functional properties of their samples with an atomic precision.
