The “Task Force Publication – Nature Research – CHRU de Nancy” project continues to move forward.
The 5th edition of the Nature Masterclasses will be held on March 18 and 19, 2027, at the Institute for Health Research and Innovation (IRIS) at the Nancy University Hospital (CHRU). It will be the final edition of the five-year program organized by the Publication Task Force—Nature Research—Nancy University Hospital.
This edition, intended for researchers at the Nancy University Hospital, will feature two editors from Nature Portfolio: Dr. Christoph Schmitt (Chief Editor, *Nature Metabolism*) and Dr. Gabrielle Brewer (Senior Editor, *Nature Reviews Cancer*). Over the course of two days, the program will guide participants through the process of developing and publishing a high-impact article: the first day will focus on the art of crafting a compelling scientific narrative, through both text and figures, while the second day will be dedicated to mastering the entire editorial process—from selecting a journal to the final decision—while adhering to research and publication ethics. Each participant will also receive personalized feedback from the editors on their abstract. Following four successful editions, the 2027 edition will explore new thematic areas in metabolism and cancer research, spanning basic research to its clinical applications. It will also address the specific characteristics of high-impact review articles, which are central to the editorial focus of the Nature Reviews journals.
The Nature Masterclasses will bring together investigators involved in clinical or translational research with a strong clinical focus. They are open to PU-PH, MCU-PH, PH, PHU, and ACC-AHU faculty members, as well as investigators, methodologists, doctoral students, and faculty researchers from the BMS cluster who are engaged in a clinical research project funded by the Nancy University Hospital (CHRU).
Registration deadline: Thursday, March 4, 2027, at noon.
Since the number of spots is limited to 30, registrations will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
