Ma thèse en 180 secondes is an international competition for French-speaking doctoral students. It allows young researchers to present their thesis topic in 3 minutes in a clear and concise manner. Faced with them, a lay and diverse audience, curious about everything and sensitive to the passion that they transmit. The subjects presented reflect the multidisciplinary nature of research in the exact, human and social sciences.

The competition also aims to train doctoral students in science mediation, by preparing them to make themselves understood in a quick and efficient way, and by making each one of them an ambassador of research in scientific and technical culture. To this end, the University of Lorraine is offering a training course bringing together professionals in scientific mediation and the world of theater, in order to prepare doctoral students in both content and form.  The complete presentation file can be found here.

The competition is organized in France by the CPU and the CNRS.
