
The UMR NGERE laboratory has a vacancy for a Biological Techniques Engineer on a 36-month fixed-term contract (CDD), starting April 1, 2025.
The incumbent will work in the NGERE laboratory (Nutrition, Genetics and Exposure to Environmental Risks), headed by Prof. David Meyre, on the Brabois Health Campus. This laboratory is a joint Université de Lorraine-INSERM unit, with a staff of 90. Within Team 2, headed by Prof. Meyre, Group 2 “Integrative and targeted approaches in IBD” is headed by Prof. Laurent Peyrin-Biroulet and is part of the Institut Hospitalo-Universitaire (IHU) Infiny, which studies IBD through multidisciplinary approaches in cellular and molecular biology.
The person recruited will provide technical support to team members (researchers, PhD students, engineers) and assist managers with the technical and organizational aspects of the IHU Infiny project. As a biology research engineer, he/she will also act as lab manager for the MICI team within the NGERE U1256 laboratory, ensuring the smooth running of research activities.
